This tour takes you to Bodrum and its hinterland, which are attractive for their laid-back atmosphere and historic architecture. Its delightful charm remains intact thanks to its palm-lined streets and white-washed, flat-roofed houses. Bodrum is the site of the ancient city of Halicarnassus. You will begin your discovery of Bodrum with the famous Mausoleum of Haliсarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will then visit the medieval St Peter's Castle, an incredibly preserved castle that is also a fantastic Museum of Underwater Archaeology. Immerse yourself in the history of ancient mariners. The oldest shipwrecks from the Hellenistic period of Ancient Greece are on display here, along with models of boats and underwater excavations. Then we'll reach the windmills, which are a vantage point from which you can look out over the clear turquoise waters of the bays, sprawling resorts and coniferous hills. At the end of our trip, you'll have free time to shop in Bodrum's picturesque streets lined with shops.
